For the over 25 years I have provided counselling in various community agencies. I have extensive experience working with victim/survivors of sexual assault/ childhood sexual abuse, family violence and their families.
I am a director at Glenferrie Consulting Group... as well as running my own private practice.
I offer individual counselling, supervision for therapists and psychological reports for Victims of Crime. My practice is inclusive and I support for people from gender diverse and queer communities.
I am a qualified psychologist and social worker. I am registered with the psychology board of Australia. I am a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), the Australiam Psychology Association and the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). I am an accredited EMDR practioner and consultant in training and a member of the EMDR association of Australia. I have completed a Graduate Certificate in Dance Therapy and am an Provisional Professional Member of the Dance - Movement Therapy Association of Australia (AMDTAA).
I have also completed extensive training in Somatic Trauma Therapy with Babette Rothschild. I assisted Babette Rothschild in the review of her recent text The Body Remembers Volume 2., 2017.
I am a registered counsellor with the Victims Support Agency, WorkSafe, TAC, and most private health funds. I am a provider of psychological counselling for Medicare, subject to an assessment by a referring medical practitioner and regular medical review. I can also offer NDIS support for those who are plan managed or self managed.
I offer in person and telehealth appointments.
